They are fast-paced videos that quickly sum up everything about a particular topic, delivering only the most vital of all information. They are short videos that I would equate to an espresso shot. It is perhaps the way Dr.Sattar explains and lectures, that has made Pathology, one of the most boring subjects, one of my favourites. Through all modules, Pathoma has remained a constant for me, and I go back to it every time I don’t understand pathology. I often joke with my friends that if there was one thing I could save if my house was on fire, it would be my copy of Pathoma. I don’t think I could have truly understood the ascending and descending tracts if it wasn’t for the way Dr. I found Dr.Najeeb’s lectures very helpful especially when I had to do Neurosciences in the beginning of my second year. The hippocampus helps store what you learn as long term memories. He delivers information in a way that is both enjoyable and easy, helping it find a permanent place in your brain. Najeeb is a maestro that manages to make even the most boring of medical subjects interesting. I found these videos immensely helpful when I was studying the musculoskeletal system, especially the limbs.ĭr. The videos are divided and classified by body systems, so they cover all your bases. The videos use a 3D model to visualize the human body and hence helps imprint the images in your mind. Whether it is because of the sheer number of subjects or the monotonous way in which the lectures are mostly delivered, we begin to lag behind in our studies.īut thankfully in today’s world, the vast spread of the internet and modern technology ensures that our means of knowledge are not just limited to the classroom. Trying to keep up with all the ward rounds and labs and dissections can be daunting at times, to say the least. In the midst of it all, you neglect what is, perhaps, the building block of medical knowledge, the lectures.
